Triassic Park Waidring – A Prehistoric Adventure for the Whole Family
The Triassic Park on the Steinplatte in Waidring is a fascinating adventure park for all ages. Visitors can explore life-sized dinosaur models, exciting fossil excavation sites, the Triassic Trail, and the popular Triassic Beach with various water activities. A new feature is the barrier-free Panorama Shell, offering breathtaking views of the Tyrolean Alps. The park is fully accessible, and entrance is free (mountain lift required).

Seisenberg Gorge – Primeval Power & the Spirit of the Gorge
The Seisenberg Gorge in Weißbach near Lofer is one of the most spectacular natural attractions in the Salzburger Land. The approximately 600-meter-long gorge was formed around 12,000 years ago by a retreating glacier. Vorderkaser Gorge – Adventure Gorge for the Whole Family
The Vorderkaser Gorge near St. Martin bei Lofer impresses with its wild beauty: 400 meters long, up to 80 meters deep, and dramatic narrow passages as slim as 80 cm make it a unique destination in the Salzburger Saalachtal. The trail winds along the Ödenbach River via 51 walkways, 373 steps, and 35 bridges, offering an adventurous hike for visitors of all ages.
The starting point is the idyllic Vorderkaser natural swimming area, from where the gorge can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. Perfect for a family outing, the area also offers numerous picnic spots and an exciting water playground. The Vorderkaser Gorge is a true hidden gem for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts.
